USHER TEAM

Assisting with Sunday morning offering and welcoming new families.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Each volunteer role has its own process of qualification and training.

Purpose: Ushers serve on Sunday mornings by assisting with the offering, welcoming new families, and helping provide a safe environment for guests/members attending the service.

Specifics of the Role:

• Responsible for taking up the church offering and making sure it is given to the Head Usher

• Be well versed in emergency procedures. In case of an emergency, all ushers, serving that day or not will take the lead in getting people to safety

Expectations:

• To reply within 48 hours of being scheduled to serve. (Through email/text message)

• To follow the direction of the head usher.

• To be ready and attentive immediately following worship on Sunday mornings.
