CLOTHING MINISTRY

Clothing Ministry comes directly from Jesus' command to clothe the naked. This ministry is rooted in a belief in God and a desire to help those in need.

Living Streams Church houses New Clothing Outreach Ministry (NCOM), a non-profit, tax-deductible charity whose mission is made possible through the kindness and caring of its volunteers and benefactors. NCOM will provide high-quality clothing, new underwear, and socks to economically challenged individuals.

HOW DOES OUR MINISTRY WORK?

We receive new and gently used clothing and new underwear and socks and distribute it to our clients who are referred by local agencies, religious organizations, and schools. They come to our facility (by appointment only) and “shop” for new clothing free of charge. Each family may choose clothing, from underwear to overcoats, for each member of their family. Individuals may return to us twice a year, once in the spring/summer season and once in the fall/winter season.

HOW DO YOU MAKE CLIENT REFERRALS?

Clients are referred to us by social service agencies, religious organizations, or a friend. To see if you are eligible to come to the ministry, call Joan @ 215-355-9529.

Our distribution operates on Wednesdays from 9.30 am to 12 pm by appointment only.  Needs may also be met on a case-by-case basis by calling ministry director Joan Koeger at 215-355-9529.
