ROLE DESCRIPTIONS
Prayer Team
Each volunteer role has its own process of qualification and training.
Purpose: The Prayer Ministry Team exists to minister to the prayer needs of those who come to Living Streams Church on Sunday mornings.
Specifics of the Role: Prayer ministry team members partner with the Holy Spirit to release the love and power of God to those in need. This will take on various forms depending on the specific situation.
Some examples include:
Prayer for healing
Leading someone to Christ
Leading someone in prayer for repentance/forgiveness
Leading someone in prayer to forgive others who have hurt them
Prophetic ministry
Deliverance ministry
Intercession for a need
Expectations:
Be committed to the values, beliefs, and leadership of Living Streams Church.
Any time you are present at a LSC Sunday service, be prepared to minister:
At the end of the service (Sometimes a specific topic and other times a general invitation to receive prayer)
At spontaneous times of prayer ministry that may happen during the worship time
Participate in occasional training events.
Intercessory Prayer Team
Each volunteer role has its own process of qualification and training.
Purpose: The intercessory team is a team that prays for Living Streams Church leadership and the needs of the church body on a regular basis.
Specifics of the Role:
The intercessory team members are committed to praying for Living Streams Church! They lift up LSC’s leaders and the needs of the church body on a regular basis.
Every week the intercessory team receives an email with some specific prayer requests to intercede for.
Expectations:
Be committed to the values, beliefs, and leadership of Living Streams Church.
Set aside personal time to pray for Living Streams Church on a regular basis.
Participate in occasional intercessory team meetings to connect, pray, share, and plan.
